See You Soon Aunt Sara

As some of you know Declan has a mega crush on his soon to be Aunt Sara. He follows her where ever she goes and tries to make sure pesky Uncle Dan doesn't try to get to close. Sara was staying with my parents over summer but had to go back to Seattle to finish her last semester of college. She will be coming for Thanksgiving so Declan won't have to wait too long to see her again. Below: Declan is pictured in his favorite outfit batman. He really isn't truly happy unless he is dressed in batman, superman, or something with pirates.

Walk with Paka

Many of you know that my Dad had a four way bypass on the 24th. He is thankfully doing well and we joined him on his evening walk after dinner. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has been so supportive to our family before and after the surgery. God Bless you all!

Jones Family Pool Party

J and Kelsey had a pool party so they could see everyone together before they left for Washington. Here are some pics of Paka and Grandma having some fun with the boys in the pool...

So, it has been a blast seeing the boys play together, having fun, take turns having tantrums and grow in their skills but because t-ball is cancelled next week and Aiden will be moving to Washington on the last day of t-ball this is the last time the boys will have class together (at least this summer)...

The coach split the group up into two teams and attempted a somewhat real game. Declan is in orange and this is his first up...

He was out at first after taking a slight detour to second...

A brilliant strategy... he picks up his own ball in an attempt to confuse the other team before throwing it down and successfully running the bases with his own private coach (Dad).

And he makes it home...
