Kelsey's Pink and Black Birthday Party

I was very proud of my pink and black streamer centerpiece until my brothers pointed out that I used Victoria Secret colors. I still like the pink and black and I think everyone enjoyed the pink towered dessert masterpiece.

Aunt Sara's Hogwarts Birthday

For those of you who do not know Sara is a huge Harry Potter fan so we gave her a Hogwarts Party. She requested My Mom's Strawberry Whip Cream Cake and not only was it beautiful but delicious.

The boys standing in front of platform 9 3/4. You had to run through it to enter the party.

This was courtesy of some friends that brew their own beer.

I think she enjoyed the party but not sure how to top it for next year.

Annual Goodale Graham Cracker Houses

We love doing the graham cracker houses and I feel like the picture of the girls below captures the collision of sugar and creativity :)

This year we had surprise challenges (you had to add certain things to your houses that were selected by everyone and drawn at random) to make things a little more interesting. I think all the houses turned out awesome.

Christmas Trees

I know it is not Northwest of me but I love how easy it is to go down to home depot and get an amazing full Christmas tree. J. and Kels and Ben and Amanda have started a tradition of cutting down their own trees. This year we joined them in the adventure and while they were cutting down their trees we took some backroads and got a little turned around but got some great pics and had an amazing lunch in the forest.

Thanksgiving

I know I know it has been a while but I am ready to get back to keeping you updated so prepare for some catching up:
We had a smaller Thanksgiving this year with just us, my parents, and Uncle Dan and Aunt Sara it was a lot of fun and amazing food. We decorated candy Turkey's this year and Sara took it very seriously. They turned out to be a delicious work of art.

Look at all those missing teeth Declan has been raking in the dough from the tooth fairy this year.

Dan is the ham man. These pictures are to reflect all his fellings toward his delicious work of art:

And Blue Steel

Here is Mrs. Randy in her adorable apron frock. He did not think these pictures were funny at all. I think if I want him to carve the turkey next year I will need to get a more manly version of this or a sun hat to complete the ensemble.

Sara stealing Turkey: it is a risky family tradition but no one has lost a finger yet.
