Food Inc.

I watched this tonight with Steve. It was so upsetting. I do not even have words to express how angry I am with our government and how they are not protecting us and the farmers who are trying to do the right thing. This is an issue of us placing our trust in a system where cash is king. If you have not seen this movie please buy it, rent it, or borrow it from a friend. We all should know what is in our food and the policies that are being made to keep us from knowing or changing things.

Grandma Bee's 70th Birthday

Aunt Cyndy put together a 70th birthday surprise party. It was a blast.
This was the front picture of a game we played...
Paka outside keeping the boys entertained why we waited for our honored guest....

What a great picture maybe I should get one without the pacifier...

Great setup Aunt Cyndy!

Much to the Aiden and Declan's surprise all the eggs had candy in them. Let's just say they were very energetic by the time the party got started :).

Some of the balloons ended up on the ceiling this was one of the first attempts to get them down. Ben tried to wrap the ribbon around the broom handle. This was not successful.

The beautiful carrot cake my mom made from scratch, yummy...

Kevin making sure the final touches are done...

This attempt was successful. They attached tape to the end of the broom and J. was able to fling the balloons down with it...

My adorable Declan...

Okay, so just before I took this picture Aiden had the most angelic smile but as soon as I started to take the picture he decided he was going to turn into a dragon. Oh well, it is a good dragon face and his roar was frightful ;)

Surprise! Oh just kidding it is just Dan.

SURPRISE!!!!

Big hugs from the great grandkids...

Jamie holding my mini Steve...

J. is usually the life of the party but he was not feeling well. He was a trooper though he stuck it out for most of the party...

The boys making shadow puppets with uncle Ben...

Declan wanted to help Grandma blow out her candles....

Happy Birthday Grandma Bee. We hope you had as much fun as we did. We love you and look forward to your 80th birthday.

Painting Pals

I set up a painting station at my parent's and the boys had a blast painting different pictures.
