Declan Magic

Declan got to assist in a magic show at the fair. From my angle you could tell how the trick was done but it blew Declan's mind...

Fair and Snoqualmie Falls

We also attended a local street fair while Cara and Michael were here and then had a picnic dinner up at the falls...

Savor Seattle Food Tour

On Kelsey's recommendation we booked the Pike's Market Savor Seattle Food Tour to share with our amazing friends Cara and Michael. And it was not only delicious but fun.

I had some smoked salmon that was yummy at the market and I hate salmon so that is saying a lot...

Award winning clam chowder...

Beecher's Cheese, they make their cheese right there on site and the macaroni and cheese was yummy...

We actually went to the Lavender Festival in Sequim, which was fun but you could not spend more than a couple hours there so we drove up to Port Angeles to look around and have dinner. To our surprise we arrived in time to see the Tribal pullers come in to the harbor. It was pretty cool lots of drumming and there was even a Tlingit tribal boat there.

I had fun at my stop over at one of the twilight stops as you can see Lochlan, like most men, does not enjoy the Twilight Series...

We ate at Bella Italia and I had a coke and the mushroom ravioli just like in the book, a true Bella experience...

My friend Cara would have loved to have come but she was not due to visit until the following weekend so I did the next best thing I brought her picture with me so she could be there in spirit.

We hit some major traffic on the way back because of everyone leaving the Lavender festival so I used the opportunity to grab some amazing shots of the beautiful WA landscape...

4th of July

4th of July is crazy in WA. Fireworks start the night before and go until about 4am. Also, it is amazing to me the fireworks that are legal here you can buy things that I could not even get as a kid when I was in NorCal. Jeremiah and AJ were master of ceremonies this year (I hope we are starting a tradition) and don't be fooled with how bright it is we started fireworks at 8:30pm

Declan's 5th Birthday Adventure

So, I am sorry to admit that Declan's birthday last year was kind of a bust in fact he would not have even had a birthday celebration if it was not for grandma. Steve and I vowed that his 5th birthday would be awesome and I can safely say mission accomplished. A big thanks to the team that made this possible and an extra big thanks to Uncle Dan who made the funniest batman ever!
