Brother to Brother

Here is a clip of Declan and Lochlan communicating or maybe they were just airing their complaints.

Yellow

When we were doing Declan's workbook of mazes he kept calling the yellow background red. We decided to do a fun yellow reminder by letting him and dad make a yellow collage.

Declan's New Shoes

Our little man is growing up. We had to buy Declan new shoes today because he grew out of his old ones. He insisted on having shoes that lit up and has spent most of the afternoon turning off lights and dancing for Lochlan and I. I finally grabbed the video camera in order to obtain evidence of Declan exercising (if you have seen Declan play t-ball you understand what I mean).

Lochlan now does crunches every time you lay him down in an attempt to sit up. He also talks constantly and will yell at you if you walk by and he wants you to come closer.

Park Day

Since we live in southern California and it is 80 degrees today we decided to take the boys to the park. It is so strange living in a place with no seasons.

The Many Faces of Lochlan

So, Lochlan had his check-up this week and he is average for height and weight. Dr. Weinburg did warn me that Lochlan (like Declan) has advanced social intelligence. I guess that means that I will have two boys who are constantly manipulating us (heaven help us).

1. Steve and I were newlyweds.
2. We lived in a tiny apartment in Mission Viejo. We had cops or helicopters in our complex weekly (who knew there was a bad part of Mission Viejo).
3. Steve was working two jobs.

Question 5:What 5 things would you do if you were a billionaire?
1. Set up funds for the kids and cousins.
2. Buy a couple houses for us and houses for all by bros and Steve's bro.
3. Pay someone to do all of my laundry, housecleaning, and grocery shopping.
4. Start a non-profit to help get kids out of foster care and into forever families
5. Adopt a bunch of kids out of foster care.

Diesel the Best Dog

Diesel really is the best dog for kids. My parents' are actually hoping to find him a home because he gets bored being alone all day. He may shed a lot but I have never seen a dog let a three year old climb all over him and get right in his face.
