Back in Action

Declan missed last weeks t-ball practice because he was sick but today he was back in action...
Playing catch with Dad after making sure his pirate hat was on straight...

Here is J helping Aiden and giving him advice. One of the things I overheard J tell Aiden was to pay attention and always listen to the coach...

They split the field up into three mini fields with bases and split the kids into three teams that is why Aiden is in green and Declan was in blue. Aiden makes a hit and runs to first base...

Where the coach he is supposed to listen to points him in the wrong direction. Aiden ran through all three fields making sure to touch every base on his way. Meanwhile, J is chasing after him. When he touches down at home plate in the third field he looks up at me beaming and runs to give me a high five

We met Paka and Grandma for dinner and Paka showed Declan his new phone

The boy's first Tee Ball experience

7/11/2009 this is the date of the boy's first official Tee Ball experience. Kelsey and I both know that this is the start of many years to come. There were 26 kids in the class; God Bless the coach for taking on a bunch of toddlers and teaching them the basics.

They actually had a great time even with the heat...

4th of July

Happy 4th everyone we had a blast watching the Fireworks by the lake...

So, I found out Declan hates the flash from our camera. He tried hiding his face but eventually settled on giving me a dirty look (so cute)...

Aiden snuggled up with his Mom. The boys enjoyed the fireworks a lot more this year...

Declan has a giant crush on his soon to be aunt Sara. I asked Dan how he felt about his fiance' being stolen yet again by his three year old nephew and he said Declan can think what he wants but he is marrying her in June. I think Declan might get a little confused since him and Aiden will be ring bearers in the wedding :).

Fun With Water

Summer is officially here. We had been having some traditional "June Gloom" but it looks like that is on its way out. Declan has been keeping cool in all sorts of ways. Steve has been working with him in the pool.

Declan also spent the weekend hanging out with his cousin's, Aiden and Audrey at Grandma and Paka's house. They had lots of fun keeping cool...

At the end of the day we threw all the kids into Grandma and Paka's big bath tub full of bubbles so they could play and get cleaned up for bed...
