Best Days of Summer

This year Declan and Aiden both attended BDOS and Declan had a blast. I was one of the camp directors so it was fun to be able to be around.

Declan Summerween Birthday

Declan had a Summerween birthday party this year. Declan got the idea from a Gravity Falls episode.  It was really fun having Halloween in June and the kids had to defeat the Summerween Trickster by completing different stations and collecting candy.

At this station they had to present an eyeball in order to get their candy. The plastic eyeballs were covered in baking soda and the colored liquid is vinegar.

This station was buried treasure.

At this station their heads were covered with shaving cream and their partner had to throw and make cheese puffs stick.

Dan was the Summerween Trickster. I was so worried that the kids would be too scared of him, but they were not scared at all. He took a lot of abuse from those third graders and his nieces and nephews. Thank you Dan for being amazing.

Thank you to everyone for your help in running all the stations. You made Declan's birthday a blast and I could not have done it without you.
