Seahawks Win

This year the Seahawks went to the Superbowl and won. Steve was beyond excited and it is beyond huge here. The night they won, for an hour afterwards, you could hear people screaming, setting off fireworks, and banging pots and pans in the streets. We had Amanda over with the kids for dinner. Our church also put together these fun family superbowl packets to keep the kids busy.

Aunt Sara Capitol Birthday Party

Was trying to figure out how to top last years Harry Potter themed birthday but I really had a blast doing this years party as Catching Fire Capitol themed party

Before you entered the party you had to get capitol ready

Dan your "capitol" faces crack me up

Sara requested that I make two of my salads, olive tapenade bread, and chocolate covered strawberries. There was all kinds of food including Peeta chips and nightlock berry salad.

Everytime you took a plate of food you had to enter your name into the tessera bowls and then we drew names later for captains of the survival game we played.

Christmas Morning Nerf Gun Fight

It is Jones tradition to have a nerf fight Christmas morning while the ladies cook and this year it was our turn to host

Graham Cracker Houses

I sprained my foot the night before the graham cracker house party so we ended up just making them with my parents and the kids and then letting the rest of the family guess who's was who's on Christmas morning.

Lochlan made a whole in his and just kept shoving candy inside until it exploded

My mom's was as always very professional and my Dad was disappointed that we were not competing as he believed he should win a prize because his was the only mobile home.
