Tulip Fields

Ben and Amanda took us new Washingtonians out to the tulip fields last weekend and it made for amazing pictures. I know this is a lot of pics but this is actually me holding back.

This tulip is growing high up in a tree.

Declan's Unbirthday

Declan's birthday is in summer so we did an early celebration at his school with all his classmates. I made Star Wars cupcakes with light sabers and wrote all the kids names on their cupcakes. Declan gave everyone a Darth Vader pencil and sharpener.

Declan got to choose where everyone sat. He decided he wanted these two ladies at his birthday table.

Palm Sunday

At Palm Sunday they had all the little ones parade through the church waving palms. Declan did not smile through most of it. Later I asked him if he was nervous or scared when he had to walk through church and he said, "Mom, nooo, I was pretending I was Darth Vader"
