Diesel the Best Dog

Diesel really is the best dog for kids. My parents' are actually hoping to find him a home because he gets bored being alone all day. He may shed a lot but I have never seen a dog let a three year old climb all over him and get right in his face.

From the Dr. Oz Website Poison in Our food

So, I am becoming completely obsessed with Dr. Oz. I feel like I am auditing a medical and nutrition class every time I watch. I thought today's topic was super important to share. Please click on the salmon to learn about mercury, BPA, and pesticides in our food and how to avoid them. What I particularly found interesting was the link of BPA and pesticides to weight gain.

Our Boys

Lochlan is getting so big and Declan is the proud big brother.
Lochlan has been sleeping 5-6 hours straight at night so I am starting to get back some of my energy.

Arts and Crafts

These are our arts and crafts from this last week...
J is for Jelly Bean
W is for worms. This was a really tough letter for Declan to remember but he has it down now after associating it with this fun candy.

F is for fish. We have been working on him writing letters and then picking a couple for arts and crafts as a reward. We also work on colors and numbers with the different colored candy.
